Setting higher benchmarks for Information Security with Salestrekker
It probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that when we developed Salestrekker we independently set higher benchmarks for information security by gaining SOC 2 Type 2 accreditation.
In layman’s terms, this meant our development team completed independent auditing of access control, two-factor authentication, network and application firewalls, security incident handling protocols and quality assurance, amongst other vital information security activities.
Our approach to SOC 2 Type 2 accreditation strengthened the unique capabilities of Salestrekker and was in line with how we wanted to operate and deliver on our market-leading reputation.
The controls we have in place for privacy, security, confidentiality, availability and processing integrity are another example of Salestrekker's leadership. They also ensure we comply with strong trust principles.
And data needs to be looked after – especially by your CRM service provider (it’s all about the customer right??) – to secure your business. Research tells us half of end users click on malware links and this can spell disaster with private data.
So what have we done differently with Salestrekker 2.0?
We approached the launch of Salestrekker 2.0 with an even more comprehensive strategy for information security. The team further improved our information security architecture, roles and permissions - and encryption standards - to complement and improve our existing SOC 2 Type 2 accreditation.
This saw us update our existing policy, procedures and risk management profile. We are big on continuous improvement here at Salestrekker for everything we do and securing your data is part of this.
We remain committed to other industry-relevant security certifications, such as PCI DSS and our data security and management processes are regularly audited by APRA-regulated banks.
It’s another way we set Salestrekker 2.0 apart from the rest.
